Middle-Earth: Shadow of War trailer goes epic on some orc asses!
Lord of the Rings nerds, rejoice! It's time to return to Middle-Earth with Shadow of War, the sequel to 2015's Shadow of Mordor.
Shadow of War, like its predecessor, takes place in the 60 year gap between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring, as "the world of men is ending." There will also be the official introduction of Sauron, his Nazgul, and the "not-quite-Gandhalf-slayer", Balrog.
According to GamesRader, Shadow of War will visit more film locations. "While the previous game was set in the same locations as the film, and shared a few place names, it wasn't packed with much in the way of instantly recognisable places. Shadow of War is promising 'iconic locations' which hopefully means more than a brown field with a name from the book."
